Mark Lazarus

Mark is the Founder and President of Laztech Consultants, Inc., consultants to the fiber, textile and apparel industries.  He is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science, brings 30 years of experience, primarily in the performance fabric market, and holds a US patent. Laztech was formed in Dec. 2001. During his 17 years at Liberty Fabrics, as well as driving the strategy, sales, marketing, R&D and production planning, he also developed new markets, products, strategic alliances, joint ventures and acquisitions.  Mark has engineered performance fabrics for use in garments for the Olympics, NFL and NCAA football, NHL hockey, and Major League baseball and soccer, as well as critical medical applications such as post-surgical and burn garments.  He pioneered the compression testing at the Department of Sports Medicine at Penn State University, and served as the Chairman of the SGMA Fiber & Fabric Committee.
